How Effectur Works

Our team has over 150 years of ex-IRS experience. We apply our industry knowledge of tax laws and IRS processes to work for you. Once you become our client we will:

  • File a Power of Attorney* within 48 hours of receiving your case. Your Account Executive and Enrolled Agent interview the IRS and request key documents involved with your case to immediately work toward stopping IRS collection activity.
  • Prepare your prior years’ taxes, if needed, to get a true handle on your situation.
  • Consider 21 different options* provided by law to reach the best options available to you. We work with you to get the best possible outcome.
  • Determine what options you qualify for and begin the negotiation process, working directly with the IRS using our special access as an industry practitioner. We will continue to propose solutions to the IRS until we have reached a workable arrangement for you.*

All through the process, our proprietary systems manage your case, ensuring effective workflow and fast response. You can be assured knowing that the most qualified professionals are working to deliver your best possible solution.

We aim to exceed your expectations and restore your peace of mind.

* Note: These items only relate to contracts including Effectur’s Right Fit resolution services. Other contracts including only tax preparation and/or research services do NOT include representation, nor does Effectur file Power of Attorney for these “non-resolution” services.
